Samsung Galaxy A52

The Samsung Galaxy A52 is armed with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, having been introduced to us in the spring of 2021 as the direct successor of the Galaxy A51, alongside the Galaxy A52 5G and the Galaxy A72. The Galaxy A52 was officially launched by Samsung in March with an MSRP of $405 (after conversion) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The larger model offers 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage at a more expensive price point. The Galaxy A52 is not available in the US, so anyone who wants to pick one up will simply have to go through a third-party reseller.

The Galaxy A52 comes with a Snapdragon 720G SoC from Qualcomm and is mated with up to 8 GB of RAM. You can expand the 256 GB storage to hit the 1 TB mark with a microSD card. What makes this entry-level model particularly attractive is the 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hertz.

Flipping the handset over to its back, you'll find a quad-camera system that is led by a 64MP shooter with optical image stabilization. There's also an ultra-wide-angle cam at 12 MP, as well as sensors for depth and macro at five megapixels each. Up in front, Samsung relies on a 32 MP shooter for selfies. The 4,500 mAh battery can be charged with a 25W charger.
